Opera Museum in the Redoutenhaus, Bayreuth, 2nd prize
Following the inscription of the Margravial Opera House in Bayreuth as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, an information center and opera house museum will be established in the neighboring "Redoutenhaus" to educate visitors about the World Heritage criteria.
The concept envisions integrating the circulation areas into the scenography, transforming them into a stage and audience space. This approach creates an immersive experience that not only conveys historical and architectural insights but also reflects the theatrical essence of the opera house itself.
