The public utility company Stadtwerke Weiden has taken a forward-thinking step by constructing a modern operations center with a waterworks. The new building complex combines functionality, aesthetics, and sustainable urban development in a central location.

The project includes an operations building with warm and cold storage areas, as well as a personnel wing with a workshop. The complex is complemented by a vehicle hall, which is connected to the operations building via a roofed structure. The buildings have been arranged to optimize workflows, shorten distances, and improve collaboration between different departments. A flexible floor plan allows for individual adaptations, particularly in storage and vehicle halls.

The architectural design harmonizes with the surrounding environment. The facade consists of aluminum composite panels in spectral colors, which change depending on the viewing angle, reflecting the sky and nature. This ensures that the buildings blend seamlessly into the surrounding commercial area and adjacent green spaces while also emphasizing their representative character.

With its completion, one of the last available spaces in the Weiden industrial area has been utilized. The new operations center with a waterworks impresses not only with its modern technology but also with its architectural quality. The construction contributes to a cohesive cityscape and strengthens the infrastructure of Stadtwerke Weiden for the future.
