The project of the Neudorfer Weg building community in Dresden Pieschen is characterised by its location in a large, green inner courtyard in the middle of the city in the neighbourhood of the Pieschener Melodien, an innovative shared space for children, young people and adults that is unique in Dresden. The colourful composition of the clients, the majority of whom have a connection to planning and building, felt drawn to the lively neighbourhood from the outset and were able to realise a building here that reflects the individuality and joie de vivre of its residents in its floor plan, layout and many details. Particularly noteworthy during the planning phase was the co-operative floor plan design, which was negotiated in many constructive meetings. Ultimately, it was precisely these evenings spent together that brought the future owners together as a friendly group.
