The Bavarian State Ministry, planned a new passive house standard building, at the south end of the building authorities site, intending to accommodate 110 of their employees, from the Internal Admistration department.

Through the enclosing of the perimeter at the bordering building, a quite courtyard was created, which also enhanced the neighboring residential properties. The height corresponds with the north bordering Senior Building Authorities building and the southern neighboring buildings. A wheelchair accessible bridge joins the new building with the old Senior Building Authorities Building.

The number and arrangement of the windows, corresponds with the interior floor-plan and the compact configuration of the offices, to the north. This results in a recurring pattern on the exterior which is dispersed, through large format fixed glazing on the east and west sides.

The visible facade is a curtain wall of prefabricated blasted, spalted concrete, corelating to the facade of the neighboring building. The reveals are cladded with aluminum plates, that through their materiality create a fine contrast, to the rough concrete. Through the slanting position and opening of the reveals on the western side, the ground floor receives increased sunlight, which otherwise would be in the shadow of the neighboring building. Due to the design of the reveals and despite a relatively small amount of glazing - complying with passive-house building regulations - the opening section of the facade appear larger.

The main entrance on the ground floor matches the reveals gladding of the windows and is contrived of a curtain facade of large format anodized aluminum plates.
